ROYAL NORTHUMBERLAND FUSILIERS' RE-ENACTORS

50th (Northumberland) Infantry Division
The double T for the Tyne and Tees. At the beginning of the war it was a first line Territorial Army Division, composed of Territorials recruited from Northumberland and Durham, organized as a Motor Division. In June 1940 it was reorganized as an Infantry Division and on 16 December 1944 it was reorganized as an Infantry (Reserve) Division in the UK.
